  1. 11 July 2026 · corrected by Melik Can Sariyer

2 flagged findings, both unverified attributed quotes: one to Steven De Haes (real COBIT co-author/academic) with no verifiable source, and one to Kevin Holland with no verifiable source.

    Before

"The governance/management distinction is not COBIT's invention..." -- Steven De Haes, co-author of COBIT and professor at University of Antwerp / "I've seen organizations implement ITIL brilliantly and still fail COBIT assessments..." -- Kevin Holland, ITIL author and consultant

    After

De-attributed both quotes to plain unattributed prose, removing the Steven De Haes and Kevin Holland attributions (no locatable source for either). Removed the now-orphaned De Haes and Holland reference-list entries.

Why: Applied fact-check fix: de-attributed two unverified quotes, removed orphaned reference entries.
