Tom Dixon is a British designer whose eponymous brand is based in London, not a Nordic/Scandinavian brand, and there is no evidence his reputation was launched through the Greenhouse emerging-designer programme (he has appeared at Stockholm Design Talks as an established guest speaker, not as a Greenhouse graduate). Grouping him with 'established Nordic brands' who 'launched their reputations through Greenhouse' misrepresents his origin and career path.

    Before

Many established Nordic brands (Hem, Massproductions, Tom Dixon's Scandinavian outposts) launched their reputations through Greenhouse-equivalent emerging-designer programmes.

    After

Many established Nordic brands (Hem, Massproductions, and others) launched their reputations through Greenhouse-equivalent emerging-designer programmes.
