Why this is better

SUPERSEDED. Post 1065 (slug how-genetic-engineering-works) previously had its title AND entire body content swapped with unrelated material (a spaced-repetition/Ebbinghaus-to-FSRS article) due to a content-generation bug. The Rohrer, Dedrick, and Stershic (2014) citation this contribution corrected (misspelled as 'Stencil') lived in that misplaced spaced-repetition text, which has now been fully removed and replaced with a genuine, original genetic-engineering/CRISPR article (restriction enzymes, recombinant DNA, CRISPR-Cas9 mechanism, Casgevy's December 2023 FDA approval, base/prime editing, somatic vs germline editing, GMO safety consensus). The before_text/after_text below no longer appear anywhere on the live page. Title, meta_title, and content now correctly match the genetic-engineering topic as of 2026-07-18. Recording as superseded rather than deleting, to preserve the contribution history.
